The Nemaline Myopathy Foundation was founded in June of 2001 for the purpose of raising funds to promote research to find a cure for nemaline myopathy and to raise awareness about nemaline myopathy. The Nemaline Myopathy Foundation is the only organization in the world raising funds solely for nemaline myopathy research.
